Honduran Village

The Village
  • Client: Personal Project
  • Format: Flash Game
  • Completed: May 2007

The Village is a Flash game developed by myself, Vladimir Neykov and Chris Quinn. I was responsible for all of the coding and game mechanic design. We were able to make a rather successful game in only a matter of 8 weeks. We will also be pitching this completed prototype to various organizations for possible funding and support later on. The purpose of the project was to bring awareness to small Honduran villages and their populations that were, and still are, damaged by the devastating Hurricane Mitch in 1998.

iPod Shuffle Ad

iPod Shuffle
  • Lo-Res | Hi-Res
  • Client: Personal Project
  • Format: Motion Graphics Movie
  • Completed: May 2007

This piece was created for my 3D motion graphics class. It isn't my first time using 3D, but it is my first time using After Effects. I learned a great deal about the program and am now a lot intimidated by it. The shuffle models were made in Maya and all of the graphics were created in Photoshop.

Interactive Music Box

MusicBox
  • Client: Personal Project
  • Format: Flash application
  • Completed: October 2006

The Interactive Music Box is a Flash application that I created as a scripting exercise. It uses several different functions to create a fully interactive music box similar to the ones your grandmother has lying around her house. You can add and remove pegs, pause and play the box and make your own songs. It highlights some of my ActionScript abilities.

  • Description:

I will be exploring the web as a gaming environment. I am creating a Firefox extension that manipulates web page interactions in such a way that it lets users play games on or within them. This prototype will be accompanied by a thesis paper.

  • Statement:
